Seeduwa, Gampaha

Seeduwa is a vibrant town located in the Gampaha District of Sri Lanka's Western Province, approximately 20 kilometers north of Colombo. Its strategic location between the Investment Promotion Zone in Katunayake and the Ekala Industrial Estate has made it an important hub for economic activities and residential development. Historically, Seeduwa has been influenced by Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonial periods, leaving a rich cultural heritage evident in landmarks such as the observation tower at Amandoluwa and the St. Mary's Church built in 1890​​.

Geographically, Seeduwa is bordered by the Dandugam Oya (Aththanagalu Oya) to the south and east, and the Negombo Lagoon to the west. The area is known for its tropical monsoon climate, which is fairly temperate throughout the year with peak rainfall occurring in May and October.
